The FSB is established as a not–for-profit association under Swiss law and is hosted by the BIS under a five-year renewable service agreement.

Plenary Plenario
The Plenary is the sole decision-making body of the FSB. El Pleno es el único órgano de decisión del FSB. It consists of representatives of all Members and is currently composed of 54 representatives from 25 jurisdictions, six representatives from four international financial institutions and nine representatives from six international standard-setting, regulatory, supervisory and central bank bodies. The Plenary: El Plenario:

The Chair La silla

The Steering Committee provides operational guidance between Plenary meetings to carry forward the directions of the FSB and prepare the Plenary meetings in order to allow the Plenary to efficiently fulfil its mandate. SCAV is the FSB's main mechanism for monitoring and assessing vulnerabilities in the global financial system and proposing to the Plenary the action needed to address them. The FSB established in 2011 six RCGs, one each for the Americas, Asia, Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe, Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa region, to expand upon and formalise the FSB's outreach activities beyond the membership of the G20 and to reflect the global nature of our financial system.
